At the Origin

At Aylla, material is where everything begins.

We use only full-grain and top-grain leather—valued for its natural integrity, rich texture, and the way it softens and deepens with wear.

Our leather is sourced from leading exporters in the region, working in accordance with internationally recognized standards of quality and responsible practice. All partner tanneries are Leather Working Group (LWG) certified, reflecting a considered approach to environmental management and production.

This considered approach ensures that every Aylla piece carries not only beauty, but integrity—from origin to finish.

It is what guided the creation of Aylla: a pursuit of handbags defined by intention, refinement, and an uncompromising standard of quality, where every element is considered, and nothing is left to chance. 

Founded by Dana Maged, Aylla is a contemporary expression of elegance — shaped by a Canadian-Egyptian perspective and deeply influenced by the understated elegance of Francophone culture. From Montréal to Paris, inspiration was drawn from a way of dressing that speaks softly yet with intention — where simplicity carries confidence, and every detail has purpose.
